        Myntra, the global online trading website, changed the logo after complaining about the ambiguous symbol on the logo.The company's logo was changed based on a complaint filed by Nass Patel, a Mumbai-based social activist, alleging that Myntra's logo was insulting to women. Last December, Nass Patel filed a complaint on behalf of the Avastha Foundation seeking action against Myntra.
The police had sent an email to Myntra following a complaint lodged with the cyber crime unit of the Mumbai police. DCP Reshmi Karandikar of the cyber crime unit said that the decision to change the logo was taken during the ensuing discussion.


Myntra will switch to the new logo within a month. There will be a new logo on Myntra's website and app. The company said it had issued instructions in this regard. Myntra entered the fashion e-commerce space in 2007. Flipkart, India's largest online retailer, was acquired by the company in 2014 for Rs 2,000 crore. Bangalore is the headquarters.
